High School Boys Team Camp

2010 will see the return of the Akron Soccer, High School Team Camp. The objective of Team Camp is to provide your team with the best possible platform for success heading into the High School Season.

Through the combination of Technical and Tactical sessions, Strength and Conditioning workshop and Competitive games against participating High Schools the Akron Coaching Staff will offer insight and ideas from their nationally renowned program.

Each Team will be under the specific guidance of an assigned Collegiate Coach for the duration of camp, as well as receiving instruction from Akron Head Coach, Caleb Porter.

Topics covered during camp will include: systems of play, principles of defending (individual & team) transitional play, attacking principles and speed of play. Teams will also gain valuable knowledge on the games increasing demands of speed and agility and strength and conditioning principles

High School Team Camp will provide an intense, challenging and stimulating environment for players' and coach's alike leading into their High School season.

The cost of Team Camp is $210 per player for commuting teams and $260 per player for teams to reside on campus throughout camp. As well as accommodation teams wishing to stay on campus will recieve breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, while commuting teams will recieve lunch and dinner. Each team is asked to bring a minimum of 16 players in order to cope with the demands of the weekend.
