Winter Junior Development Camp Overview
2010 marks the second year of The Akron Zips Junior Camp, featuring the players and the staff of The Akron Zips Men's Soccer Team.  This three-day event is designed for fun and player development. 

The Akron Soccer Staff believes that "the game is the best teacher." The same philosophy will be applied at camp. The focus of all activities will be learning through play. Enrollment in the camp will be extremely limited to allow individual attention for each player from the staff of exceptional coaches. A combination of small sided and full sided games will be at the core of the camp curriculum.

Players should plan on being available Friday night beginning at 5:00 pm, all day Saturday and finishing Sunday afternoon by 4:00 pm. After the first session on Friday night, players will be notified as to what schedule they will be on for the rest of the weekend.

Facilities
The Winter Junior Elite Camp will be held in the state of the art Akron Field House. This facility contains a 120 yard long field turf soccer field. To view images of The Athletic Field House, go online to www.gozips.com.

Housing and Meals
Housing and meals are not included in the camp price therefore players who are attending from outside the area will need to make their own arrangements prior to attending camp. Who Can Attend
Camp is open to boys ages 7-14. Field players and goalkeepers are welcome, however goalkeeper slots are very limited and will fill up quickly.
