This two-day event is designed for advanced player development and exposure to some of the nation's top college coaches from all levels of College Soccer. In addition to our elite staff, we will offer a ‘player development seminar’ at no extra cost.
The Akron Soccer Staff believes that "the game is the best teacher." The same philosophy will be applied at camp. The focus of all activities will be learning through play. Enrollment in the camp will be extremely limited to allow individual attention for each player from the staff of college coaches. A combination of small sided and 11 vs 11 games will be at the core of the camp curriculum.

Who Can Attend?
Camp is open to all Boys Entering Grades 9th - High School Seniors, Gap Year Students & Transfers. Field players and goalkeepers are welcome, however goalkeeper slots are very limited and will fill up quickly. Because of the nature of this camp, activities are designed and the focus will be on high-level soccer players. Players interested in camp should be involved in high school, club and MLS NEXT level soccer.
What to Bring
Sessions will take place outside at FirstEnergy Stadium (natural grass) and on Schrank training field (artificial turf). Weather permitting, we could potentially go inside to our state of the art indoor fieldhouse. Soccer cleats or turf shoes are recommended for both of these surfaces so long as they are NOT metal studs. We encourage all players to bring a change of clothes, water, snacks, and comfortable walking shoes if you are interested in going on our campus tour led by members of the Akron coaching staff.
Those who cannot attend camp for medical or other reasons will be refunded all but a $50 administrative fee and applicable convenience fees. To receive a refund the camp office must be notified at least 72 hours before camp begins. Refunds are not issued for any soccer related injury and/or illness occurred during camp.
