This two-day camp will focus on the technical and tactical skills needed to succeed in one of the most demanding and unique positions in all of team sports. Sessions for the weekend will be conducted by the University of Akron Goalkeeping Coach and his staff, including former zips goalkeepers and collegiate level goalkeeping coaches.
Akron Soccer is becoming known as a breeding ground for top-flight collegiate and professional goalkeepers. Our experienced staff will teach you the key technical, tactical, physical and psychological aspects of this crucial position.

Campers should be ready for camp to commence on Saturday evening from 6:30pm. One session on Saturday evening with camp running throughout the day on Sunday. A final camp itinerary and confirmation will be sent to each camper prior to camp.

Housing and Meals
Housing and meals are not included in the camp price, therefore, players who are attending from outside the area will need to make their own arrangements prior to attending camp. There are several housing options around campus. For any questions regarding meals and housing please feel free to contact the camp office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Who Can Attend
Camp is open to boys and girls ages 7-18. Spots are very limited and players will be grouped by age and ability. Please state your position when registering for camp.
Those who cannot attend camp for medical or other reasons will be refunded all but a $50 administrative fee and applicable convenience fees. To receive a refund the camp office must be notified at least 72 hours before camp begins. Refunds are not issued for any soccer related injury and/or illness occurred during camp
